About Retinoblastoma
About retinoblastoma Retinoblastoma (Rb) is a type of eye cancer that affects young children, mainly under the age of six. It develops in the cells of the retina, the light sensitive lining of the eye. Around 40-50 cases are diagnosed in the UK every year – approximately one child a week.

Our scholarship is open to all aspiring ocular oncologists
Applications for this year’s Victoria Cohen Scholarship came from countries including Afghanistan, Australia, Brazil, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Israel, Mali, Nepal, Taiwan, Tanzania, and Turkey.

COVER Excellence Awards 2023
The Victoria Cohen Eye Cancer Charitable Trust was delighted to be selected as the charity partner for the COVER Excellence Awards 2023 held in London on 3rd November.
Fellowship Opportunities
We support aspiring ocular oncologists with the cost of their fellowship by awarding the Victoria Cohen Scholarship on an annual basis. The scholarship is currently worth $30,000, or equivalent.
